SCHOOL PRAYER
Our Father in Heaven, holy be your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our sins, As we forgive those who sin against us.
Do not bring us to the test; but deliver us from evil. - Amen

PRAYER FOR CHILDREN
Jesus, lover of children, we bring before you, all the children all over the world, poor and rich, normal and abnormal, able and disabled.
Very especially we bring to you the children of our school, to be blessed, protected and guided by you through us. Be with us so that we may understand them taking into account their background, their struggles, their desires to be loved and recognized.
Give us all, hearts that are generous and discerning that we may not react to them from our own frustrations and anger but from your love and forgiveness. -Amen

PRAYER BEFORE CLASS
O God, You are the truth and the origin of all knowledge. Bless our studies which we consecrate to You. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our memories and direct our wills towards what is right. Grant us to seek truth and make us truly wise.

PRAYER AFTER CLASS
O God, infinite wisdom and the source of all knowledge, grant that we may remember what we have learnt. We offer You our works and endeavours, our failures and success. Forgive us our short comings and give us the courage to follow always the path of truth.

AT THE END OF THE DAY
O My God, I love you with my whole heart and above all things. I am heartily sorry for having offended You because You are so good. I firmly resolve not to offend You anymore and I shall do whatever You will ask me. St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Pray for us. - Amen.

 

THE PREAMBLE
WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens: JUSTICE, social, economic and political; LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship; EQUALITY of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all; FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation.

 

PLEDGE
India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters.
I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it.
I shall give my parents, teachers and all elders, respect and treat everyone with courtesy.
To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion, in their well being and prosperity alone lies my happiness.
